A Florida man allegedly tried to circumcise his two-year-old cousin while he was on babysitting duty.

Timothoes Powell, 29, from Rocky Mount, Virginia, was looking after his little cousin in Daytona, Florida, when he cut the toddler's genitals, according to police reports. 

The babysitter was watching over the young boy while his mother was at work on October 17, 2023. He reportedly called the mom around 7 pm and said her son was 'bleeding from his penis area as glass had entered his diaper,' according to a police report.

Powell initially claimed that he tried to wipe off the glass - which caused the skin near the little boy's genitals to break. The child was taken to hospital with a cut groin area. 

The 29-year-old - who, according to a Linkedin account works for Fleetwood Homes, Inc. - switched up his story multiple times and continued to make excuses for how the child's genitals became mutilated.
