Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler appears to have stepped away from the conservative Leadership Institute after her husband was accused of raping a woman who was allegedly part of a ménage-a-trois with the married couple.
Florida's Voice first reported that Ziegler, 41, had stepped down from her role as vice president of the School Board Leadership Project on Wednesday.
The organization's website now lists Kelly Crawford, the former director of operations, as acting director and Ziegler's professional profile has been scrubbed from the website.
The news comes amid a criminal probe into her husband, Florida Republican chairman Christian Ziegler. According to an affidavit, the 40-year-old contacted one of his female friends about having a threesome with him and his wife on October 2.
After learning that Bridget Ziegler wouldn't take part, the woman texted Christian: 'Sorry I was mostly in for her.' She asserts that the chairman showed up at her home anyway and assaulted her.

Bridget assumed her position at the Leadership Institute in August 2022.
'People are tired of their kids being exploited for the left's political agenda,' she said in a statement announcing her appointment.
In the same statement, she committed to helping parents 'in their laudable efforts to stand up for America's children, families, and the future of our country.'
On Wednesday, the mother of three appeared via Zoom at a meeting of the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, a governing body created by Governor Ron DeSantis to oversee the land of Walt Disney World Resort.
But she turned her camera off, leaving only the initials BZ on the screen.
Debra McDonald, a resident of the Disney-built development Celebration, commented that Ziegler was attending virtually before saying: 'It's not my place to judge her behavior or that of her husband. They deserve their day in court.'
But she continued: 'Mrs. Ziegler has not made Florida a better place. She is the face of the "Don't Say Gay" revolution, which brought this board to where it is, to this place today, and has caused untold harm in our classrooms and in our communities.'
She denounced Ziegler's 'role in demonizing members of the LGBTQ community is hurting the state, while she has apparently been a part of the letter B in that group.'

DeSantis has since called for Ziegler's husband, 40-year-old Christian, to step down from his own role as Florida Republican chairman amid rape accusations
'What Mrs. Ziegler does privately with other consenting adults is no more our business than it is the behavior of the other consenting adults,' McDonald said.
'It is the rank hypocrisy of attacking others for what she personally practices that should disqualify her for a position of public trust.'
Towards the end of the meeting, the board held a vote on whether or not to accept a scathing report that was commissioned to document supposed mismanagement during Disney’s governance of the district.
Still hiding her face, Ziegler responded with an 'aye' and the motion passed unanimously.
