Diana Hardcastle, aged 74, is an English actress who is best known for her TV appearances, including the first episodes of the renowned Midsomer Murders.
Hardcastle was born on July 12, 1949 in London and went to Witney Grammar School in Oxfordshire where she studied sciences at A-level with the hope of becoming a doctor.
But after she was cast as the lead in a production of Hedda Gabler, Hardcastle dropped her science A-Levels, opting for Arts subjects instead.
