Jill Biden's advisors have been mocked on social media for arranging for her to speak at an event in Utah, at a school named Hunter High.
The First Lady on Tuesday visited West Valley City, where she met high school students and talked to teachers.
Biden herself still teaches at a college, and has been a teacher for 40 years. Since 2009, she has taught English and writing at Northern Virginia Community College - making her the first presidential spouse to maintain an independent career outside of the White House.
Biden's event was billed by the White House as an occasion 'to celebrate educators and highlight the importance of educator wellness'.
But social media users were more interested in the school's name: Hunter High.

'You can't make this stuff up,' tweeted Andy Biggs, a Republican congressman representing Arizona.

Her stepson, 53-year-old Hunter Biden, struggled throughout much of his adult life with drug addiction. He has been clean since 2019, when he married South African documentary maker Melissa Cohen, but is currently having his past behavior pored over by Republicans.
