A top Hollywood writer and producer has been accused of raping an aspiring writer after offering to mentor him.

Laurence Andries, 66, has been charged with sodomy, oral copulation and sexual penetration while the victim was unconscious by the use of a drug, as reported by ABC7.

'I believe that he drugged one of my drinks, took me to his place and then... I can't say the word. I'm sorry, I can't say it,' the alleged victim, identified as John Doe, told the outlet.

Andries, who has worked on various hit shows including Six Feet Under and Blue Bloods, was arrested last August in Los Angeles and released on bond.

John Doe, a military veteran, claimed he met the producer at a writers' program and they became friends. He added that he was always upfront about being heterosexual.
