Two US citizens have been arrested after being caught illegally crossing the southern border, before CBP officers realized they had outstanding murder warrants in Texas.
The two men, who have not been named, were caught crossing in Santa Teresa, New Mexico on a route known to be popular with illegal migrants.
Although they are US citizens, their crossing was illegal as they didn't enter with proper authorization at an official checkpoint.
