This is the dramatic moment a rock climber who fell 32ft from a popular Peak District cliff was saved by mountain rescue heroes.
The climber had been scaling gritstone crag Millstone Edge when he slipped and landed on a rocky area at the bottom of the cliff.
Edale Mountain Rescue team were called by Derbyshire Police to help him after the accident on Friday.
The team of 12 arrived on the scene and gave him pain relief while keeping him warm.
They then carried him off in a spinal stretcher to an awaiting Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
