A Nebraska mother tried to cover up her disabled daughter's vicious dog mauling attack by hiding her blood stained clothes, cops have said.
Four-year-old Lilianna was rushed to the ICU at Nebraska Medicine after her scalp was torn off in the attack on February 20 in an industrial estate in Omaha where she was visiting her mother, Danielle Stratman, 24.
Police said in a report the dog belonged to her mother's boyfriend Greg Priester and the dog was caught shortly after the attack and euthanized.
According to police, Stratman hid from police when they arrived, changed out of her bloody clothes and hid them under the bed. Both her and her boyfriend were arrested for obstruction.
Lilianna's grandmother, Amanda Gomez said: 'My poor granddaughter but thank God she's a strong girl and she's going to be okay!!! She's the strongest little princess ever.'

Along with Lilianna's scalp, she suffered torn ligaments in her neck, a broken cheekbone, and multiple stiches. As of February 28, she was released from the ICU and had to undergo one more surgery.
