A vacationing Florida waiter faces drug charges over the mystery death of his 'beautiful, talented' girlfriend on board a Caribbean party cruise, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Adam Migliore, 32, claims he found 27-year-old Olivia Locher lying 'unresponsive' in bed as they sailed from Palm Beach, Florida to Grand Bahama on Monday evening.

Medical staff on board the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise couldn't revive the petite Florida bar worker and she was declared dead before the budget cruise liner docked in Freeport.

Migliore was taken into custody after investigators from the Royal Bahamas Police Force searched the couple's room and found a substance resembling cocaine allegedly stashed in their luggage.

Tests are now underway to determine whether the seized substance was cut with fentanyl or other deadly impurities.

'They were having a good time and partying and it got out of hand. Adam woke up, he saw her in that condition and got help but she was already gone. It was an overdose,' a close family member told DailyMail.com.

'They are not blaming him but obviously they did get the cocaine so he was charged with possession. It was only a personal amount.

'You hear how they mix everything these days with fentanyl but until we get the autopsy we are not going to know.'

Olivia's cause of death has not been revealed but sources told DailyMail.com she had no obvious injuries and there was no evidence of a struggle between the pair.

They were on a three-day 'Escape to the Bahamas' trip on board the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, which costs as little as $25 per person per night - making it one of the nation's cheapest cruises.

The ship started out life as the Costa Classica in 1991 but was refreshed several times before launching under Jimmy Buffett's famed Margaritaville brand in 2022, complete with a breezy topical décor, new restaurants and a pickleball court.

The 1,680-passenger vessel sailed back to Palm Beach Tuesday but Migliore remains in custody in Grand Bahama where he's due to be arraigned later today for possession of dangerous drugs.
