Timothy Kildee's crashed vehicle was found near an intersection
While police were responding to the shooting scene in Vienna Township, reports of a serious crash came in at the intersection of Bray and Stanley roads in Genesee Township
The suspect then took off on foot and contacted his mother. The mother tried to take the suspect back to his father's house, but the suspect jumped out of a moving vehicle. Timothy Kildee and the mother connected and went out to look for their son.
Another son was sleeping in the basement, according to Swanson. That son later heard a screaming match where the suspect shouted 'give me your wallet and keys.'
