An Ohio dad was arrested after repeatedly calling his son's school to complain about the amount of homework he was being set.

Adam Sizemore, 37, from Oxford, was charged with telecommunications harassment and menacing after bombarding Kramer Elementary School with his phone calls.

Criminal complaints filed against Sizemore claim he also threatened the school principal, saying he'd 'better get his big boy pants on' which led to the school official fearing violence, WXIX reported.

According to a police report sent to Today by Oxford Police Department, Sizemore was making the repeated complaints from February 29 'because his son gets homework which takes away from the time he has with him after school'.

The dad was trying to reach Principal Jason Merz, who was unavailable, before he began directing his nuisance calls to school office.

Sizemore clarified that he was 'high', reported Today.

The calls kept coming in, and on March 1, Merz told police that Sizemore said in a voicemail: 'I hoped that you put on your big boy britches on today and have a conversation like a big boy.'

Merz told officers that he was concerned about Sizemore potentially entering the school.
