A Kiwi man who paid mothers in Asia to have their children dance naked on webcam for him has been jailed.
Jason Wayne Kerr, 45, was handed a sentence of three years and nine months behind bars at Nelson District Court on Wednesday after pleading guilty to charges involving child sexual exploitation material spanning thousands of images on multiple devices across a period of seven years.
The paedophile tried to claim he had not viewed the worst images and videos in his possession but the judge was having none of it.
'If you get this stuff then you get what’s in it. There’s no point saying, "that part is horrible - I didn’t look at it",' Judge David Ruth told the court, according to the New Zealand Herald.
