In his footballing heyday, he was known for his passion and commitment – and his glorious mullet.

But now Scotland legend Colin Hendry has had a hair transplant in a bid to recapture at least some of his trademark look.

The former Rangers and Blackburn Rovers defender was famed for his flowing locks but his hairline has been receding in recent years and he said the thought of going completely bald was ‘doing him in’.
