An 18-year-old has been charged after allegedly attacking two taxi drivers with a knife over the Easter long weekend.

The 42-year-old taxi driver was allegedly attacked after he drove to Eve Street in Guilford, in Sydney's west, after receiving a call at about 4.30pm on Friday.

The teenager entered the car and started arguing with the driver before he allegedly took out a knife.

The driver sustained injuries to his hands and arm as he struggled with the passenger.

The teenager then approached the driver's side door of the taxi and allegedly assaulted the driver before fleeing.
