A college community is reeling after a popular young senior was found dead on campus just hours after it was sent into lockdown by a bogus active shooter alert.
Politics student Christian Samay, 22, was pronounced dead on Saturday in his frat house at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania in what college authorities say was an unconnected incident.
It remains unclear how the young student died.
The leading liberal arts college held its spring break two weeks ago so the Lewisburg campus was swarming with students as news spread of Samay's death at 1.50pm.
'Our student body is really shaken from the last 24 hours,' wrote student Amaya Becker on Facebook.
'Nothing is currently set in stone, but the students are currently organizing to have their own vigil on the campus quad in remembrance.'
Christian Samay had spent three summers working as an intern for investment banks and was weeks away from graduating when he was found dead at Bucknell University on Saturday
