Budget airline Jetstar has brought back a popular international route, with Aussie travellers now able to fly directly from Sydney to Osaka.
The first flight took off from Sydney airport to the Japanese port city on Tuesday morning.
It's the first time in over 15 years the low-cost carrier has scheduled flights between the two destinations.
Jetstar will use its 787 Boeing Dreamliner aircrafts to operate three return services a week on the route.

Customers can book flights from as low as $363, with more than 100,000 low-cost seats on board flights travelling between the two cities up for grabs every year.
