A wanted man remains on the run despite being found asleep behind the wheel of a luxury car when he stopped at a set of traffic lights.
Motorists alerted police officers to the bizarre sight after the man stopped the car at a red light at an intersection on Belgrave-Hallam Road, Hallam, in Melbourne's southeast on Monday around 2pm.
Shocking footage captured the moment the man stopped at the lights and taking a nap, along with another male passenger in the black Mercedes sedan.
Drivers nearby began to film and take pictures of their odd encounter with the man, who is wanted by authorities for allegedly earlier evading police.
