The moment a group of teenage 'shoplifters' ran out of a Co-op store has been caught on camera just days after four girls assaulted an emergency worker at a train station in the same village.

Both incidents occurred in Barnham, West Sussex, over the Easter weekend. Four girls - aged 13, 14, 15 and 16 - were arrested at Barnham Railway Station on Saturday evening on suspicion of offences including assaulting an emergency worker and possession of cannabis.

A spokesperson for the Co-op store confirmed that the shoplifting occured at the supermarket on April 1 at around 6.50pm.

The spokesperson claimed the girls took 'some cans of Red Bull' without paying for them.
