Dan Gaut: Inside the FULL crazy story of the Aussie tradie and his tug-of-love ... trends now

The American mother of a baby girl at the centre of an international tug of love row with the child's Australian tradie dad has lifted the lid on their whirlwind romance.

Liv Pavlov gave birth to daughter Ana in the US six weeks ago after she and Sydney carpenter Dan Gaut decided to have child together just 10 days after they first met.

But Mr Gaut has since flown home alone amid claims of a bitter custody dispute over the child.

Now Ms Pavlov, 31, has spoken out to Daily Mail Australia to give her side of the story - and slam heartless trolls who claim she is scamming cash through an online appeal.

But Ms Pavlov insists she and Mr Gaut were never in love but only briefly raised adoption as option when the pair could not agree on their unborn child's future.

'A friend of mine had miscarried and she wanted nothing more than to be a mother,' said Ms Pavlov.

'At the time we were not on the same page on how to effectively raise her once she arrived, so I suggested maybe giving her to a loving family would be a better option.

'There were no formal enquiries with adoption agencies - and we never made an
