Mudgee crash at Aarons Pass: Woman killed and five people including two ... trends now

A woman has died and five other people - including two young children - have been injured in a horrific crash which blocked a major highway in central west NSW.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Aarons Pass, south of Mudgee, about 2pm on Friday after a southbound ute and a northbound SUV collided in the northbound lane.

Four people were in the SUV and two were in the ute.

A woman, 32, who was a front-seat passenger in the SUV was critically injured and was taken to Mudgee Hospital for treatment.
