A three-year-old girl is fighting for her life after she ran out of her house and fell into a nearby lake.
The child, who remains in a critical condition, was given CPR by paramedics by Thatto Heath lake in St Helens before she was rushed to hospital in an air ambulance.
She fell into the lake after managing to get out of home at around 2.22pm on Saturday.
