So it’s perhaps no wonder that Gabby and Kenny Logan’s daughter Lois was up to the challenge of competing in a half marathon with her ultra-fit mother. The pair took part in London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday morning, posing for a photo together as they got ready to set off. Logan, 50, and her showjumping daughter, 18, looked in high spirits before running to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK. After the race, Logan said: ‘I think I was trying to prove that being 50 wasn’t a barrier to pushing myself.’ Gabby and Kenny Logan’s daughter Lois poses after completing the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday alongside her ultra-fit mother The TV presenter shares Lois and her twin brother Reuben with her former Scotland rugby international husband Kenny, 52. Muscular Dystrophy isn’t the only health issue the Logans have worked hard to highlight. Mr Logan spoke on multiple episodes of his wife’s podcast, The Mid Point, about difficulties in having sex after he underwent prostate cancer treatment in 2022. Gabby won Star Baker during Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up For Cancer last month. The TV star took part to raise money for charity after her rugby player husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. She said: 'My family was affect by cancer last year, my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer and he caught it really early. 'He is doing really well now so when I was asked to do this it was a no brainer'. The former Scottish rugby international, 52, was told over the phone he had cancer on February 7 after a routine check up. Gabby was in the room when he took the Zoom call, but was only half listening as she got ready for a meeting. 'We were so not prepared,' he told The Mirror. 'But when we both heard those words… that I had prostate cancer, she stopped what she was doing, and we just looked at each other. 'He said we have time to get it out of your system. But when you hear the word cancer, that's all that registers, its terrifying. As soon as I turned off the Zoom call, I burst into tears. My wife and I held each other, and we cried.' Kenny said the consultant reassured them both that he would not die. He caught the cancer before it had a chance to spread. He was prompted to have a male health MoT, which included a blood test, 18 months ago after Gabby started hormone replacement therapy to get on top of her own health. That decision, he now says, saved his life. 'Otherwise, I would have waited until I had a reason to see the doctor, and then it would have been too late,' he said.
