Horrifying moment shoppers take refuge in a Myer as knifeman Joel Cauchi ... trends now
Terrifying footage captured the moment dozens of shoppers were locked inside a Myer as a knifeman went on a stabbing spree at Westfield Bondi Junction.
A group of shoppers were filmed huddling in the backroom after the shutters were drawn shut at the shopping centre at 3.20pm on Saturday.
Joel Cauchi, 40, was continuing to carry out his attack which would ultimately take the lives of six people and injure many more.
Mother Ashlee Good, 38, was among the victims killed while her nine-month-old baby girl Harriet was left in a serious but stable condition.
Cauchi was then confronted and shot by NSW Police Inspector Amy Scott.

Bondi Rescue lifeguard Andrew Reid told ABC News he was in Myer trying to buy a bed when an employee told him everyone had to evacuate.
'[He said] there's people being stabbed outside. And we went to leave but they dropped the shutters, I guess to protect us,' he said.
'We all sort of walked up and looked up to see what was going on and we heard the two gunshots just around the corner.'
It was then the lifeguard looked back and saw an injured woman on level four and asked to leave the store.
Putting himself in danger, he rendered assistance to the stabbing victims.
