Paediatrician is struck off for stalking her partner's new girlfriend after ... trends now
A paediatrician has been struck off after waging a harassment campaign against her former partner's new girlfriend - which included rifling through her dustbin in the dead of night.
Dr Adeline Salim, 38, also went to the woman's workplace wearing a bizarre 'disguise' and even accessed her medical records and those of her children without consent, a medical tribunal found.
The woman said she had been left 'frightened' by Salim's behaviour, leaving her 'quite nervous'.
Marco Breen, presenting officer on behalf of the General Medical Council, which brought the case, said Salim's actions were 'dishonest or disgraceful' and brought the profession into disrepute.
A Medical Practitioners' Tribunal Service hearing was told the incidents dated back to 2021, according to coverage by the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

The tribunal panel found Salim's conduct amounted to harassment and, on Thursday, ruled her actions meant her fitness to practice was impaired.
On Friday, she was erased from the medical register.
Evidence considered by the tribunal included CCTV footage which showed Salim - then a junior doctor in the paediatric team at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Liverpool - rummaging through Miss A's bins in the middle of the night.
