A dog owner says she has been left haunted by the death throes of her dog after the beloved pet died following a savage attack by an XL Bully.
Gemma Krzesinska was walking her three pet Lupines- Zeus, Dax and Toki - along a canal path in Leigh, Greater Manchester, when they encountered the dangerous dog breed.
Ms Krzesinska, 36, dog walk was coming to an end on April 8 when she spotted a man walking an XL Bully-type dog ahead of them. Out of concern for the dog's well documented aggressive behaviour, she decided to put the elderly Toki on her lead.
As they were walking past the XL Bully it viciously grabbed Toki's front leg in its mouth.
Zeus, her other Lupine, attempted to fight the XL Bully but it bit him before attacking Loki again.
