A former bank trader jailed for rigging interest rates in the global financial crisis found an unlikely confidante in Amanda Knox, the Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Tom Hayes, who served five years of a 14-year prison sentence, struck up an email friendship with Knox, found guilty in 2007 of killing her British flatmate, Meredith Kercher, in Perugia, Italy.
