Tony Gonzales decried some of his Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives as 'scumbags' with 'white hoods' as he directly targeted Rep. Matt Gaetz in an interview with CNN on Sunday. 'It's an absolute honor to be in Congress, but I serve with some real scumbags,' Gonzales (R-TX) said on CNN's Face the Nation on Sunday. 'Look, Matt Gaetz, he paid minors to have sex with him at drug parties.' CNN host Dana Bash was taken aback by the accusation, reminding viewers that Gaetz had not been prosecuted by the allegations. 'Wow. Okay,' she replied. 'I should say that the federal government did look into Matt Gaetz and those allegations and they decided not to prosecute.' Gonzales said that Speaker Mike Johnson would survive any threat to remove him as a pair of Republicans threatened to remove him after moving forward on a vote to send over $60 billion of aide to Ukraine. 'Look the House is a rough and rowdy place, but Mike Johnson is gonna be just fine,' he said. Gonzales also took umbrage at his colleague Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) for endorsing his primary opponent Brandon Herrera. Rep.
