A daredevil e-bike rider has been sent sprawling after he crashed in a busy cross city tunnel trying to cross a raised lane divider to reach a blocked-off exit ramp.
Sisters Kobi Klyde and Amy Macintosh filmed the rider - who was not wearing a helmet - inside the Eastern Distributor in Sydney around 9.30pm on Saturday.
The man, dressed in a lightweight pink shirt and light grey pants, was travelling in the left lane, heading south towards Sydney Airport
Perplexed by the bizarre sight Ms Macintosh began to film the man riding the e-bike on her phone.
'What are you doing brother?' she asked.
The man then crashed into the lane divider just seconds later, as he attempted to skip into the left lane towards the Bondi and Randwick exit.
The man then fell off the Uber-backed white and green Lime rental bike and landed heavily on the road.
A helmet which appeared to have been inside a basket located in front of the bicycle, was seen flying out as Ms Klyde and Ms Macintosh screamed in shock.
