A woman was knocked unconscious while her elderly mother ended up in a hospital bed after the pair were allegedly violently assaulted over a parking space outside the Melbourne Zoo.
Shin, 44, had her two children and her 72-year-old mother in her car as she tried to reverse into a spot outside the venue in Parkville on April 20.
A 42-year-old man in another car tried to drive into the same park and the two vehicles had a minor collision, resulting in an argument kicking off between him and Shin.
Shin, who chose not to share her surname, then parked in another spot but as she got out she saw the man taking photos of her family.
