Live Nation is preparing to launch its 10th Concert Week next Wednesday, five months after US Senators introduced the Fans First Act.

This year, consumers can purchase a concert ticket for $25 from May 8 to May 14, or while supplies last.

Entertainment lovers who are planning to participate in this year's Concert Week can purchase tickets to see over 900 entertainers, including 21 Savage, Peso Pluma, and RuPaul's Drag Race.

Live Nation also announced in a May 1 statement that in honor of its 10th Concert Week, the event will expand to over 20 countries.

'For fans in the U.S. and Canada, this annual program marks the start of the summer concert season, creating excitement among concertgoers as they gear up to fill their calendars with unforgettable live performances from their favorite artists,' it read.

Live Nation will launch its 10th annual Concert Week on their website starting on May 8. Individuals will have the chance to purchase a concert ticket for $25 until May 14

US Senators John Cornyn, Amy Klobuchar, Marsha Blackburn, Ben Ray Luján, Roger Wicker, and Peter Welch introduced the First Fans Act on December 8, 2023.

The politicians presented this act as a way to help increase the transparency in ticket sales and protect consumers from fake or overpriced tickets.

It will also help ensure that those who commit illegal ticket sale practices are held accountable.

'Buying a ticket to see your favorite artist or team is out of reach for too many Americans,' said Senator Klobuchar.

'From ensuring fans get refunds for canceled shows to banning speculative ticket sales, this bipartisan legislation will improve the ticketing experience.'

Billie Eilish, Cyndi Lauper, and Fall Out Boy are just three of more than 250 singers and bands supporting the bill.

It has also been endorsed by companies and organizations such as Live Nation, the Recording Academy, and Eventbrite.

According to IQ Magazine, the Fans First Act would require ticket sellers and resellers to reveal and break down the cost of a ticket.

The Fans First Act has yet to become a law and Live Nation's Concert Week is still expected to draw in millions of individuals looking to buy a $25 ticket.
