The first image has emerged of a man who was killed before being dismembered and his remains strewn across a seaside town.

Simon Shotton was allegedly murdered by Benjamin Atkins, 49, and Debbie Pereira, 39, during a row in a flat in Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset.

They are on trial at Winchester Crown Court.

Security footage captured the couple the next day, strolling to a Wilko store where it is alleged that they stole a hacksaw, later used to dismember Mr Shotton's body.

His severed legs were found in bags at Boscombe overcliff's Manor Steps Zig Zag path a week later.

Meanwhile, the 49-year-old's headless torso was discovered in a suitcase in Boscombe Chine Gardens, and his arms were retrieved from the defendants' residence, the Court heard.
