A woman in Pennsylvania has been killed after a runaway metal cylinder from a nearby construction site struck her on the sidewalk.
The unnamed victim was walking outside the Petersen Events Center in Oakland on Friday morning when she was hit in the head by the heavy object.
She suffered a serious head injury and was lying on the street when bystanders tried to save her life.
One tried to give CPR but her injuries were too severe and she was pronounced dead by the time medics arrived on the scene.
