This is the extraordinary moment a huge pride of lions hunted and brought down a massive buffalo before striking the killing blow in front of stunned tourists on safari in Kenya.
The event, which locals said is rarely caught on camera, happened on April 29 in the Maasai Mara nature reserve.
In the prolonged attack, a solo buffalo is encircled by a large pack of roughly eleven lions.
The pride of big cats slowly maul it before tipping it on its back and killing it.
A tourist who filmed the attack said their tour guide told them he had 'never seen anything like it'.
