A Deliveroo customer who had his thumb bitten off by a female rider is furious she is still making deliveries and is calling for her to be jailed.

Jennifer Rocha, 35, from Aldershot, Hampshire, gnawed off Stephen Jenkinson's thumb down to the knuckle and spat it into his ex's hand during a row over a pizza delivery.

The plumber, 36, was rushed to hospital where he underwent an 11-hour operation to replace the missing appendage which saw half of his big toe sewn on to the stump.

The Brazilian-born mother was last week caught still working for Deliveroo using another rider's account, much to Mr Jenkinson's anger who says Rocha has shown a lack of remorse since admitting grievous bodily harm during a court appearance in March.

He is still undergoing physio treatment following the grisly attack which caused the breakdown of his relationship and forced him to sell his home as he is no longer able to work as a plumber.

Mr Jenkinson says he will never regain the full feeling in his damaged thumb.

Speaking to Ed Balls and Kate Garraway on Good Morning Britain today, he said since the attack Rocha had brazenly delivered food to his neighbour.

'It's against her probation and bail conditions, which is unacceptable,' Mr Jenkinson said.

'But the fact she has shown no remorse whatsoever by pleading guilty to the charges, then leaving court and jumping on a bike and doing Deliveroo again.'

Deliveroo promptly cancelled Rocha's account after her court appearance, calling the incident 'awful'.

The second account being used by Rocha has also been suspended.

Rocha was due to be sentenced last Friday but the hearing was adjourned by the judge as she was 90 minutes late for the hearing.

'It makes me angry that someone can play the system almost when they've already pled guilty to the charges that they are playing the system to a point to keep themselves away from being sentenced or away from prison.

'I hope that she does go to prison for a number of years. She can sit there and think about what she has done to me because the snowball effect of not just biting my thumb off, not just me losing my toe, it's the relationship breakdown, it's the debt, it's the fact I've had to sell my house... It's all these things that have been a complete snowball due to her actions that evening.'
