Nicky Campbell's 5 Live show has been hit with a huge technical glitch, forcing the BBC to air a four year old interview to baffled listeners for nearly twenty minutes.
After Campbell completed the intro to his popular morning chat show, the opening jingles were followed not by lively conversation but a barrage of trance music and the repeating message: 'We are sorry but BBC Radio 5 Live is currently experiencing temporary technical difficulties. We hope to return to normal programming as soon as possible.'
