Six young women described by a witness as looking 'like teenagers' and one male have been arrested after a stolen Porsche crashed in one of Australia's wealthiest suburbs.
Police were called at 4.40am to a home in Lalchere St, Curl Curl on Sydney's northern beaches following reports of a break-in.
On arrival they were told that a Porsche Cayenne SUV had been stolen.
'A short time later, officers patrolling at Balgowlah located and attempted to stop the vehicle (but) it failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated,' a police spokesperson said.
The SUV then crashed into a concrete barrier on Spit Road in Mosman, which is home to some of Australia's wealthiest people.
A witness told 2GB's Ben Fordham that when he drove past shortly after the crash, 'it looked like they were all girls sitting in the gutter, handcuffed... young girls'.
