Tories prefer fish and chips while Labour supporters would rather order pizza, a new poll has found.
The poll, by Best For Britain, revealed nearly a quarter of Tories would opt for a fish and chips above anything else, compared with 19 per cent of Labour voters.
Meanwhile, nearly 18 per cent of Labour supporters would pick pizza as their favourite takeaway, while only around 13 per cent of Tories most desire the food.
However, both Labour and the Tories favoured Chinese as the best takeaway by almost identical proportions - with both at just over 26 per cent.
The Greens are the only party whose voters picked Indian as their favourite and, while still the least popular nationwide, sushi is almost twice as popular among Lib Dem voters than Tory or Labour.
