A man has been charged with the rape and sexual assault of two teenage girls on Bournemouth Beach.
The attack is alleged to have occurred at around 7.30pm on Sunday May 19 near the Bournemouth Oceanarium aquarium.
Dorset Police received a report at 8.40pm on the same day - and following police enquiries, arrested a 24-year-old man.
He was charged with two counts of rape and sexual assault and is due to appear at Pool Magistrates' Court today.
Police said the two teenage victims are being supported by specially-trained officers and a full investigation into the matter remains ongoing.
