Donald Trump will get a campaign cash pick-me-up from a multi-billionaire who previously vowed not to back the former president this go around.
Stephen Schwarzman, the CEO and co-founder of the private equity behemoth Blackstone, had called for 'a new generation of leaders' to step up and said he wouldn't back Trump again in the aftermath of January 6.
But now, in a stunning reversal, he told Axios his bid to back Trump in 2024 is a 'vote for change.'
He plans on donating to Trump's campaign, along with those of Republican Senate candidates.

Schwarzman's decision to back Trump came to a head as his concerns over rising anti-Semitism has intensified.
He also expressed skepticism of Biden's political agenda.
'The dramatic rise of antisemitism has led me to focus on the consequences of upcoming elections with greater urgency,' he told Axios in a statement.
'I share the concern of most Americans that our economic, immigration and foreign policies are taking the country in the wrong direction.'
'For these reasons, I am planning to vote for change and support Donald Trump for President.'
