Three women have been caught red-handed by authorities for trying to smuggle drugs and tobacco into prison by stuffing the contraband inside their bras.

Police have also arrested a male visitor for carrying four balloons of tobacco stuffed inside his socks at the Goulburn Correctional Centre in New South Wales (NSW).

All four have been charged.

Correction Services New South Wales spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that this was not the first time drugs were being smuggled into prisons by women using their bras.
