Horrifying images from inside a the home of a hoarder show mountains of rubbish piled almost to the ceiling.

The pictures were taken inside the semi-detached house in Maghull, Merseyside, and show rooms brimming with bin bags and waste.

The shocking amount of waste was strewn from the living room to the bathroom, leaving the property resembling more of a landfill site than a home.

'It must be my biggest challenge and proudest achievement,' said Paul Oldfield, owner of Waterloo-based Spotless Cleaners.
