Toddler rides her pony in NZ shop for milk and lollies

A store owner has captured on

the adorable moment a toddler rode her pony into a dairy to buy herself some milk and lollies.

Led by her mother, three-year-old Paris Smith rode her noble steed Flicker into the Tirohanga Beach Store on Friday.

The pint-sized girl from Opotiki, New Zealand, was reviving an old tradition where the store's previous owner let customers rides bikes and horses into the store to do their shopping.

'Only in Opotiki, eh?' laughed Ray Williams from behind the counter when Paris rode into the store barefoot but wearing a camouflage shirt that matched her mother's cap.
