A second man has been arrested at Sydney's Central Station attempting to rob a shop with a pair of scissors - just a week after an ice addict was shot dead after holding a pair to the throat of a florist.
Police confirmed the man entered a shop in Henry Deane Plaza at 8.30am on Wednesday morning, closed the shop door and produced a pair of scissors.
'A staff member in the store contacted police, who attended a short time later and arrested the man with incident,' a spokesperson told The Daily Mail.
This incident comes exactly seven days after Danukul Mokmool, 30, who attacked a florist armed with scissors was shot dead by police following a tense stand-off at Central station.
