A man forced his three young stepchildren to run alongside a car for kilometres, held by their arms and hair, as part of gruelling 'boot camps', a Brisbane court has heard.
The 58-year-old man, who cannot be identified, is also accused of locking his neighbour's incontinent daughter in a room with dogs for hours at a time.
When the girl soiled herself, he would allegedly rub her face in the faeces. He also allegedly fed the girl curry powder and pepper in an extreme bid to discipline her.
The man has pleaded not guilty to four charges of torture, related to events which allegedly occurred between July 1 to December 25, 2013, north of Brisbane, the Coffs Coast Advocate reports.
