A former boxer who allegedly split open a policeman's head with a samurai sword is now charged with attempted murder.
Milos Radovic allegedly hit the 55-year-old father-of-four at the scene of a domestic violence call-out in Perth about 5.30pm on July 19.

The 45-year-old then returned and allegedly slashed the officer on the head with the sword, causing multiple horrific head wounds and a fractured skull.
Other officers were called to attend the scene and had to use a Taser on Radovic to restrain and arrest him.
The officer was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital before being released overnight after he was given more than 12 stitches to a gaping, bloody wound to his forehead.
