Family moves in with 300 animals after buying Welsh zoo

One loving father went a step further than simply taking his kids to the zoo and instead bought the whole animal enclosure for them.

Dean Tweedy and his wife Tracy have left their former home in Milton Regis, Kent, to start a new life at 300 miles away at the Animalarium Borth Zoo, in Ceredigion, Wales with his three daughters Paige, eight, Sarah, nine, and 13-year-old Sophie.

Their new zoo purchase bears an uncanny resemblance to hit blockbuster film 'We Bought a Zoo', which sees Los Angeles journalist Benjamin Mee, played by Matt Damon, buy a zoo with his family.

The animal-loving family will now be looking after more than 300 different animals including snakes, meerkats, wallabies, lions, leopards, crocodiles, snakes and an albino wallaby - along with a team of zoo keepers.
