A rowdy village street has been left without post for two months after it was blacklisted by Royal Mail because staff kept getting attacked.

The abuse got so bad that postmen demanded police escorts when doing their rounds on the road in Risca, Gwent after being pelted with missiles by yobs. 

Deliveries to the street were stopped after postmen were pelted with objects from a block of flats.
