Nightclub slammed for post 'encouraging sexual assault'

A popular night club is under fire for 'encouraging people to grope women without their permission' in a social media post.

Red Sqaure uploaded a picture of a hand groping the backside of 21-year-old Samantha Zerella on Sunday.

It was accompanied by the caption 'If you see a good [peach emoji] in the club, just grab it! #rsqmadebe do it'.

Ms Zerella posed for the questionable image, but did not know about the caption that would be posted alongside it.

The Red Square regular told https://twitter.com/7NewsAdelaide/status/896988587408867328, 'I don't think they meant any harm. I think they just wrote that without thinking anything of it.'

But social media users were quick to slam the photo for encouraging assault and sexual harassment.
