Married second grade teacher found dead in her home

Police are investigating the death of a married second grade teacher after she was found inside her Boston home with signs of trauma to her body. 

Vanessa MacCormack, 30, was found unresponsive inside her Revere home on Saturday afternoon when police responded to a 911 call.

Police said the mother of one's body bore signs of trauma but they would not reveal how she died.

A medical examiner is still investigating the cause and manner of her death.

'While the facts and circumstances do not immediately suggest a random incident, authorities said the investigation is still in its early stages,' Revere Police said in a statement. 

Police said MacCormack's young daughter was not at home when her body was discovered. 

Her husband, Andrew MacCormack, was spotted crying at their home on Sunday when he returned to pick up a baby chair and other belongings.
