Man accused of murder fails to show in Melbourne court

A man accused of the shooting murder of his partner who was left for dead at a Melbourne hospital has failed to front court.

Qasim House, 32, was charged with murder on Friday, a day after the 42-year-old woman was shot in the upstairs of a house, bundled into a car and dumped at Sunshine Hospital.

The woman died shortly after arriving at the hospital's emergency department on Thursday night.
